About FOSSC Oman

The Free and Open Source Software Conference (FOSSC Oman) is jointly organized by the Communication and Information Research Center (CIRC) at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and the Information Technology Authority (ITA), on Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). The conference is scheduled for every two years. The previous event was on February 2013 and the next will be on 18th and 19th February 2015. About Venue

The Conference is hosted by Sultan Qaboos University located at Muscat the Capital of the Sultanate of Oman. Muscat is an ancient city characterized by a unique civilization which also reflects the Arabian and Islamic influences. It gained its importance from its location at the entrance to the Gulf waters and flourished as a center of the marine route network connecting the most important ports of Asia, Arabia and East Africa....
